News Crew Selected for 2011-12

Olivia V, (Sophie)., our Editor-in-Chief, has her sights set on a productive year with more innovations. Sophie plays competitive basketball, piano, and guitar. She is active in Madison Blues show choir, Student Advisory, and PACT. She helps lead a church group, baby sits, is an avid reader, and started a lost animal service. Her goals this year are to stream the show live on the school server and to showcase all the kids at Madison.

Jacob M, our Technical Director, plays baseball, is an active member of the Boy Scouts, Intramurals, and PACT. Jacob enjoys writing and taking care of his dogs. He is in charge of all video editing, and he controls the master inputs on the live performance.

Andrew W (Ferb), our Sports Editor, has experience with cameras and videos, but is heaeding up the sports department this year. Ferb plays basketball, baseball, and football. He is an active member of Madison Blues show choir and Inramurals. His goal this year is to highlight all things sports happening at Madison and in the pros.

Reya S (Maple) and Zoey O (Sam) are our starting News Anchors. Maple plays tennis, tutors first graders at school, and volunteers at church. She is an active member of Madison Blues show choir, Intramurals, Student Advisory, and 4-H Club. She is involved in theatre, has been in plays on stage, and has taken acting camp with Theatre Cedar Rapids. Sam is new to Madison this year, and is already an active member of Lego League engineering competition, Student Advisory, and PACT. She is involved in Girl Scouts, Writing Club, and Art Club.

Features Reporter: Olivia O, Kateliyn C-S, who is starring in a new feature "Katie's Kitchen," plays soccer, Intramurals, and baby sits. Katie is an active member at church and Madison Blues show choir. She loves to cook and gets to share that passion in the show.
