Valentines Day History
Here's some Lovey-Dovey history for you. Do you know how Valentines Day started? If not, then we have the goods, straight from the Bat Cave!
Well, legend has it that St. Valentine was a Priest who served in Rome. The Emperor thought that single men made better soldiers then the ones that were married. So, he outlawed marriage for young men, in hopes of building a stronger Military. Supposedly, Valentine disagreed with the Emperor and fell in love. Before he was put to death, he sent a card and signed it 'Your Valentine.' They still write that on the cards today. That is how Valentines Day came to be.
